What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.

FIX API is there for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That will make the platform set once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform run 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Safety

This is the part that matters. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
