The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would be a good addition when it lands.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That is something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
This is the part that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
